Associate Reflection | Taking Stock

By Aldridge Robles

Reflecting on my career, I’m proud of how far I’ve come. While I’ve often downplayed my accomplishments, I now realize the importance of acknowledging them—they show how much I’ve grown and what I’m capable of achieving.

In 2015, I transitioned into Field Operations, taking on the role of Associate Operations Manager with The Resource Group.  This was the first position in my career where I had to lead others. Today, as a Senior Operations Manager, my journey represents hard work, leadership growth, and guiding teams through change. Each milestone in my supply chain career brought challenges and opportunities, reinforcing my commitment to continuous growth.

The 2020 pandemic tested me in unprecedented ways, demanding perseverance and empathy to maintain supply chain resilience and prioritize well-being during uncertainty. This experience highlighted the value of collaboration and staying calm under pressure. Doing so made managing through critical situations easier.

In 2023, I weathered the loss of my mother, a pivotal figure in my life. Her dedication as a nurse inspired me to pursue a career in healthcare and to continue my education. Her influence continues to drive me forward in my professional advancement. I honor her memory by remembering why I love my work - because I am given the opportunity to serve others and to do it well.

In December 2024, I earned my MBA with distinction, balancing work and studies in one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It expanded my expertise in analytics, finance, and leadership, equipping me to navigate the ever-changing business landscape. Continuous learning ensures that I stay knowledgeable in my field, which in turn allows me to be a mentor to others.

I express my deepest gratitude to those individuals that brought me on this team - Todd Adams, Dewayne Rader, and Jeff Catrambone. And I’m also grateful for the opportunity to work with some of the nicest and brightest people on the National and Integration teams.

As I look to the future, I’m excited about new possibilities and challenges. Celebrating my achievements reminds me of the resilience and growth that brought me here, silencing the inner voice that says I’m not doing enough—because I already am.
