System Support Leadership

Whitney Bendel serves as The Resource Group’s Vice President, Value Assurance. In this role, Whitney is responsible for leading and managing the Value Assurance program, focused on identifying value opportunities and verifying the overall value The Resource Group delivers for its participants. She also serves as a liaison between Ascension Finance leaders and The Resource Group to leverage expense, reimbursement and profitability to increase value delivery to each market.

Previously, Whitney spent 17 years in progressive Finance leadership roles with HCA in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex. Most recently she was Chief Financial Officer at Medical City Denton and Medical City Argyle.

Whitney holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University and a Masters in Business Administration Finance from Dallas Baptist University. She is a graduate of HCA’s Executive Development Program and has served with various non-profit organizations. Most recently she was the Treasurer of Lovepacs, an organization that helps feed kids during school holiday breaks.
