Senior Leadership Team

Ryan Easter serves as Chief Sourcing Officer of The Resource Group,  leading the contracting functions for IT, Purchased Services, and Facilities. In this role, he ensures the successful development, delivery, and ongoing management of The Resource Group’s contract portfolio. In addition, Ryan also leads our Strategic Sourcing Optimization Community which delivers centralized support in the areas of eSourcing, contract lifecycle management processes, and strategic sourcing forecasting and performance metrics.

Ryan has been with The Resource Group since 2016, serving in a variety of roles including Vice President, IT Contracting, Vice President, Strategic Sourcing Optimization, and as the National Director of Contracting Strategy. Ryan also helped establish an eSourcing program to support our sourcing teams. Before his work with Ascension and The Resource Group, Ryan worked at Anheuser-Busch InBev where he spent time in strategic sourcing roles supporting IT and services categories.

Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Webster University. Ryan received a PMP certification in 2017 from Project Management Institute, guest speaks on eSourcing and negotiation strategies in support of university engagements, and is a co-founder of an annual fundraising campaign, ‘Kick It For Recovery,’ which raises money to provide scholarships for those in financial need seeking extended living support in their addiction recovery journeys.
