System Support Leadership Team

April Stefanell is the Vice President, Pharmacy Solutions for The Resource Group. In this role, April specializes in pharmacy key stakeholder engagement and strategic direction to support The Resource Group’s Pharmacy Solutions Community. April collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams to improve health quality and safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize pharmacy operations. April and her team are responsible for all pharmaceutical supply chain operational functions for The Resource Group’s participants.

April began her career with The Resource Group in 2020, and has served in a variety of roles including Director, Pharmaceutical Deployment, and Senior Director, Pharmaceutical Support Services. Prior to joining The Resource Group, April worked in a variety of pharmacy practice settings including community, ambulatory, clinical research, consultant, and hospital practice. Her prior leadership roles include Pharmacy Manager at Publix Pharmacy and Regional Medication Safety Manager at Ascension Rx serving Florida and Alabama Markets.

April holds a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Florida. April is 340B ACE certified, serves as an ASHP Preceptor for Ascension’s PGY1/PGY2 program, as well as Courtesy Clinical Assistant Professor for University of Florida College of Pharmacy Career Coach Program. April was inducted to the Jacksonville Women’s Network in 2024.
